The resort is on level ground with play areas for volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, bocce ball, croquet, concrete ˝ court basketball, softball gloves, and bicycles-FREE. The Swim Beach is sandy, safe and offers a dock w/bench for bathing and swim platform. We have a paddleboat and canoe-both FREE. Limited beach toys available.
Weekly Frog races for the kids: (when frogs are in season)
When kids arrive they are excited to learn, by Tuesday High Noon, they are to find a frog, name the frog and bring it to the frog ring for weekly races. There are prizes awarded (‘store bucks’ may then be spent at the resort store ) for the fastest frog, second place frog, laziest frog and best-named frog.
Weekly Fishing contest for all ages:
Contest for Bass, Crappie, Northern, Walleye. Entry fee $2 per fish category. At end of week, half the pot collected goes to the heaviest fish, by End of the Road official scale. The remaining pot goes to the grand prize fish caught at the end of the season. See fishing news for 2001 annual fishing contest results….good luck fishing!
